Enabling modem support

To enable modem support, your FortiGate must be running in NAT mode. Enable modem support by entering the following CLI command:

config system modem

set status enable

end

This command enables the modem interface, which now appears on the Network > Interface GUI page and under config system interface in the CLI. This command also displays the modem page on the GUI at Network > Modem. You may have to log out of the GUI and log back in for these GUI changes to appear.

Note

Enabling modem support is optional for LTE modems. However, enabling modem support is recommended to be able to see the Network > Modem GUI page.
