System Information widget
The following information displays in the System Information widget.

Hostname |
Name of the computer where you installed FortiEndpoint. |

Version |
Version number for FortiEndpoint. Also displays the build number. If the build is an interim build, also displays (Interim) beside the build number. |

Database |
Options to back up and restore the database (DB). See To back up the DB: and To restore the DB:. |
|
System Time |
Time and date that the computer where you installed FortiEndpoint uses. |
|
Uptime |
Number of days, hours, minutes, and seconds FortiEndpoint has been running. |
|
Mode |
Displays if the EMS is a standalone node or part of a high availability (HA) cluster. |
To back up the DB:
- Go to Dashboard > Status.
- In the System Information widget, beside Database, click Backup.
- Set the following options:
Option
Description
Password
Enter a password for backing up and restoring the DB.
Confirm Password
Reenter the password to confirm it.
Compression Type
Select one of the following:
- Database: download the backup as a db.enc file
- Zip: download the backup as a zip archive
- Click Back Up. FortiEndpoint backs up the DB.
To restore the DB:
- Go to Dashboard > Status.
- In the System Information widget, beside Database, click Restore.
- Click Upload File.
- Locate and select the DB backup file.
You can restore the DB across different deployment models, such as from a standalone EMS to an EMS HA setup or vice versa.
- In the Password field, enter the password used to back up the database.
- Click Restore. When the DB is restored, a message appears. The message instructs you to wait for the restored DB to reload.
- Wait for the restored DB to be reloaded.
