Changing the view settings
The view settings change the look and language of the FortiOS GUI.
To change the view settings in the GUI:
- Go to System > Settings.
- In the View Settings section, configure the following settings:
Language
Set the GUI language: English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Japanese, Traditional Chinese, Simplifies Chinese, Korean.
Theme
Set the theme color: Jade, Neutrino, Mariner, Graphite, Melongene, Retro, Dark Matter, Onyx, or Eclipse.
Date/Time Display
Set the date and time to display using the FortiGate's or the browser's timezone.
NGFW Mode
Set the NGFW mode to either Profile-based (default) or Policy-based.
Central SNAT
Optionally, enable central SNAT. This option is only available in Profile-based mode.
- Click Apply.
To change the view settings in the CLI:
config system global set language {english | french | spanish | portuguese | japanese | trach | simch | korean} set gui-theme {jade | neutrino | mariner | graphite | melongene | retro | dark-matter | onyx | eclipse} set gui-date-time-source {system | browser} end
config system settings set ngfw-mode {profile-based | policy-based} set central-nat {enable | disable} end
