Manually archiving and unarchiving SaaS apps

To manually archive or unarchive one or more apps, follow the steps below.

How to manually archive an individual SaaS app

1. In the FortiDLP Console, on the sidebar menu, click .
2. Select the Inventory tab.
3. Optionally, filter the apps in the table by entering a query into the search bar at the top of the page. For details about the supported search properties, see SaaS app search properties.
4. In the table, at the end of the row of an app with an Active or Always active state, click> Archive app.
   
   
5. In the Reason (required) field, provide a reason for archiving the app.
6. Click Archive.
   

The app will transition to the state Archived.

How to manually bulk archive SaaS apps

1. In the FortiDLP Console, on the sidebar menu, click .
2. Select the Inventory tab.
3. Optionally, filter the apps in the table by entering a query into the search bar at the top of the page. For details about the supported search properties, see SaaS app search properties.
4. Above the table, on the right side of the page, click> Archive apps.
   
   This operation will apply to apps in the table that have an Active or Always active state.
5. In the Reason (required) field, provide a reason for archiving the apps.
6. Click Archive.

The apps will transition to the state Archived.

How to manually unarchive an individual SaaS app

1. In the FortiDLP Console, on the sidebar menu, click .
2. Select the Inventory tab.
3. Optionally, filter the apps in the table by entering a query into the search bar at the top of the page. For details about the supported search properties, see SaaS app search properties.
4. In the table, at the end of the row of an app with an Archived or Always archived state, click> Unarchive app.
   
5. Click Unarchive.

The app will transition to the state Always active.

How to manually bulk unarchive SaaS apps

5. In the Reason (required) field, provide a reason for archiving the apps.
6. Click Archive.

The apps will transition to the state Always active.
