Editing saved Investigate searches

Follows these steps to rename or modify the filters of a saved Investigate search.

How to edit a saved Investigate search

1. In the FortiDLP Console, on the left-hand sidebar, click .
2. At the top of the page, click the search bar.
3. To rename a saved search, do the following:
   1. In the Saved searches section of the menu, hover over the search you want to rename and click Edit.
      
   2. In the Edit saved search dialog box, do the following:
      1. In the Name field, type the new search name.
      2. Click Save.
         
4. To modify the filters of a saved search, do the following:
   1. In the Saved searches section of the menu, select the search you want to modify.
   2. Edit your filters, following the steps in Performing Investigate searches.
      
   3. On the search bar, click Save.
   4. In the Save search dialog box, do one of the following:
      • To create a new search using the updated filters:
        1. Leave the Create new search radio button selected.
        2. In the Name field, type a new search name.
        3. Click Save.
           
      • To apply the updated filters to the existing search:
        1. Select the Update existing search radio button.
        2. In the Select the search you want to update menu, select the existing search name.
        3. Click Save.
