Resolving an incident

Resolving an incident

When you finish investigating an incident, you can resolve it to hide it by default from the Incidents module. Once you resolve an incident, detections will no longer be added to it, even if you reopen the incident at a later date.

You can resolve an incident from the Incident details page, as follows.

How to resolve an incident
  1. In the FortiDLP Console, on the left-hand sidebar, click .
  2. Find the incident you want to resolve by following the steps in Viewing incidents.
  3. Click the table row of the relevant incident.
  4. Click Resolve.
  5. In the Resolve incident dialog box, do the following:
    1. Optionally, in the Reason field, type a reason for resolving the incident.
    2. Click Resolve.
