Exporting SaaS apps

You can export SaaS app data for external reporting and analysis purposes. For flexibility, you can refine which apps you export by entering queries into the search bar at the top of the page, and refine the app data you export by selecting which fields you want include.

If you filter the SaaS apps table using the last_used property in a search query before exporting, the number of apps exported may differ from the number of apps in the table if an app's last_used value changes in the time between the filtering and the export. For example, if at 11:59pm you filter for apps last used today and then export at midnight, the results would have likely changed.

How to export saas apps

1. In the FortiDLP Console, on the sidebar menu, click .
2. Select the Inventory tab.
3. Optionally, filter the apps in the table by entering search queries into the search bar at the top of the page. For information on the properties you can use in queries, see SaaS app search properties.
4. Above the table, at the top-left of the page, click> Export.
   
5. Under Format, select one of the following:
   • To export to CSV format, select the CSV radio button.
   • To export to XLSX format, select the XLSX radio button.
6. Under Fields, select which data fields you want to export for each app.
   
7. Click Export.
