Creating a user group
Create a user group for the users (computers) from your remote LDAP.
To create a remote LDAP user group:
- Go to Authentication > User Management > User Groups, and click Create New.
- Set the following:
- Name: Enter a name for the LDAP group, for example:
AD_LAB_PC
. - Type: Remote LDAP.
- User retrieval: Set a list of imported remote LDAP users.
- Remote LDAP: Select the previously configured remote LDAP server, for example AD_Computers.
- LDAP users: Add your chosen LDAP users to the Selected LDAP Users pane.
- Name: Enter a name for the LDAP group, for example:
- Click OK.
