Approving or denying FortiDLP supporting operator access

Approving or denying FortiDLP supporting operator access

As described in FortiDLP supporting operators, an unacknowledged access request displays with a "Pending" status in the FortiDLP supporting operator access table. There, you can also see the requesting FortiDLP operator's name, the expiry of their access to your FortiDLP tenant, and the reason for access.

Upon review, you can either approve a request to grant the operator access to FortiDLP, or you can deny it to prevent the operator from accessing FortiDLP.

After you approve access for a supporting operator, you can view them in the Operators tab's All operators table and Current web sessions table (if they are logged in to the tenant). Additionally, you can view their related Audit log entries.

How to approve or deny FortiDLP supporting operator access
  1. In the FortiDLP Console, on the left-hand sidebar, click .
  2. Under Authentication, select the Operators tab.
  3. In the FortiDLP supporting operator access table, on the row of the relevant request, do one of the following:
    • To approve an access request, click> Approve access.
    • To deny an access request, click> Deny access.
