Microsoft sensitivity labels

You can integrate FortiDLP with Microsoft 365 to strengthen data loss protection using sensitivity labels.

By syncing your organization's file and email sensitivity labels with the FortiDLP Infrastructure, you can boost content inspection policies to track sensitive data and prevent data loss.

Sensitivity label integration setup

Requirements: File sensitivity label inspection is provided for Windows and macOS with all currently supported Agent versions, and on Linux (Preview) with FortiDLP Agent 12.0.0+ and FortiDLP Policy Templates 8.0.0+. Email sensitivity label inspection is provided for Windows and macOS; the FortiDLP Email Add-in requires FortiDLP Agent 10.4.0+ for email header inspection and FortiDLP Agent 10.1.3+ for email attachment inspection; the FortiDLP Email Plugin (Legacy) is provided for Windows only, with all currently supported Agent versions.

Microsoft sensitivity labels must be migrated from Azure to the Microsoft 365 compliance center to be synced with the FortiDLP Infrastructure. For more information, click here.
