Duplicating policy groups

Instead of recreating similar policy groups from scratch, you can duplicate and edit an existing one.

When you duplicate a policy group, you can reuse some of the existing parameter values and modify those you wish to change.

How to duplicate a policy group

1. In the FortiDLP Console, on the left-hand sidebar, click .
2. On the row of the policy group you want to duplicate, click> Duplicate policy group.
   
   
3. Edit the duplicated policy group as needed (it will display with the previous policy group name, appended with (Copy)). For guidance, see Editing policy groups.
   
4. Do one of the following:
   • To publish the policy group now, click Publish policy group. You changes will be rolled out to FortiDLP Agents within 15 minutes.
   • To publish the policy group later, close the policy group page. For instructions on publishing the policy group later, see Publishing policy groups.
