Adding a remote extension
- Go to Extension > Extension > Remote Extension and click New.
- Set Number to the local extension number from which calls are transferred to a remote extension.
- Enter the Remote number. Calls to the local extension are transferred to this remote number.
- Click Enable.
- Enter a Display name, and expand to modify the caller ID.
- Under User Setting, in the Management tab, apply a User privilege rule and a Department, if required.
- Click Voicemail to assign a voice mailbox, and optionally allow other users and/or groups to access the same voice mailbox. For example, you may want others to access the mailbox when you are away.
- In the Web Access tab, select the appropriate Authentication type.
- Enter the User password, for local authentication extensions.
- In the Phone Access tab, set Voicemail PIN to the PIN for the user to access voicemail.
- Click Create.
