Logging in to the FortiDLP Console

Logging in to the FortiDLP Console

The following steps describe the login process you will encounter when accessing the FortiDLP Console for the first time.

How to log in to the FortiDLP Console
  1. Do one of the following:
    • To log in using a link provided in a welcome email:
      1. Go to the link in your email.
      2. In the New passphrase field, type a new passphrase.
      3. Note

        A passphrase must be Strong or Very strong (as indicated by the Passphrase strength scale on the page) and contain at least 15 characters, including:

        • 1 uppercase letter
        • 1 lowercase letter
        • 1 number
        • 1 special character.

      4. In the Confirm new passphrase field, type your passphrase again.
      5. Click Reset passphrase.
      6. In the Tenant field, type your tenant name.
      7. Do one of the following:
        • Click Continue.
        • Press Enter.
      8. In the Username field, type your username.
      9. In the Passphrase field, type your passphrase.
      10. Do one of the following:
        • Click Log in.
        • Press Enter.
    • To log in using an LDAP operator account:
      1. Go to the URL for your organization's FortiDLP Console.
      2. In the Tenant field, type your tenant name.
      3. Do one of the following:
        • Click Continue.
        • Press Enter.
      4. In the Username field, type your LDAP username.
      5. In the Passphrase field, type your LDAP passphrase.
      6. Do one of the following:
        • Click Log in.
        • Press Enter.
    • To log in using an internal operator account:
      1. Go to the link provided by your system administrator.
      2. In the New passphrase field, type a new passphrase.
      3. Note

        A passphrase must be Strong or Very strong (as indicated by the Passphrase strength scale on the page) and contain at least 15 characters, including:

        • 1 uppercase letter
        • 1 lowercase letter
        • 1 number
        • 1 special character.

      4. In the Confirm new passphrase field, type your passphrase again.
      5. Click Reset passphrase.
      6. In the Tenant field, type your tenant name.
      7. Do one of the following:
        • Click Continue.
        • Press Enter.
      8. In the Username field, type your username.
      9. In the Passphrase field, type your passphrase.
      10. Do one of the following:
        • Click Log in.
        • Press Enter.
        Note

        If you ever forget your internal account passphrase, you can reset it from the login page.

        • Click Log in.
        • Press Enter.
