Template Group supports the FortiAP, FortiSwitch, and FortiExtender templates 7.0.3

Template Group now supports the FortiAP, FortiSwitch, and FortiExtender templates.

To create a template group for FortiAP, FortiSwitch, and FortiExtender templates:
  1. Go to Device Manager > Provisioning Template > Template Group, and click Create New.
    The Create New Template Group window opens.
  2. In the provisioning template field, add FortiAP, FortiSwitch, and FortiExtender templates.
  3. After selecting your templates, save the template group.
  4. Right click the template group and click Assign to Device/Group.

  5. After assigning the template to a FortiGate, the template group setting will override all other previous settings if there are any configuration conflicts.
