Addressing scheme
Careful IP address planning can significantly simplify multi-regional deployment. Route summarization is a key to successful horizontal scaling, and Regional Hubs will advertise the summaries of their regional LAN prefixes to each other.
For this reason, it is important that all the LAN prefixes of each particular region can be summarized, and these summaries should not overlap between different regions!
The following addressing scheme is used in our example (as can be seen on the topology diagram in Multi-Regional topology):
