SD-WAN Deployment for MSSPs

Multi-Regional deployment

Multi-Regional deployment

In this section, we describe how to extend our topology to multiple regions. Although we describe how to extend the topology to just two regions, you can use the same procedure to add additional regions to the deployment.

Before you begin, ensure that you have completed the following tasks:

  1. Complete common elements. See FortiManager common elements.
  2. Complete a Single Hub deployment, which includes Meta Fields and Normalized Interfaces. See Single Hub deployment.

Following is an overview of the tasks needed to deploy Multi-Regional SD-WAN:

  1. Review the addressing scheme. See Addressing scheme.
  2. Deploy individual regions. See Deploying individual regions.
  3. Interconnect the regions. See Interconnecting regions.
  4. Configure edge devices with SD-WAN. See Configuring Edge devices with SD-WAN .
  5. Verify the configuration. See Verifying configuration.

See also Multi-Regional topology.
