Onboarding to SOCaaS

Before you begin your SOCaaS onboarding, ensure that the following steps have already been completed:

• Onboarding devices have the appropriate license required by SOCaaS. See Licensing.

• Devices are registered on FortiCloud. See Registering products.

• Determine which log collection method you will be using. See Log collection.

• Determine which Fabric log sources you will be using. See Fabric log sources.

Once the above steps have been completed you can proceed with onboarding your devices to SOCaaS. There are three onboarding types available.

Regular customer onboarding	Initial onboarding to SOCaaS as a regular customer.
MSSP and MSSP client onboarding	Initial onboarding to SOCaaS for MSSP customers.
Additional device onboarding	Adding devices to SOCaaS after the initial onboarding has been complete.
