Applying a password policy to a secret template

To apply a password policy to a secret template:
  1. Go to Secret Settings > Templates.
  2. From the list, double-click a secret template to edit the template.

    Alternatively, select a template and then select Edit to edit the template.

    The Edit Secret Template window opens.

    Default templates cannot be modified.

    Administrators can clone a default template and then select a password policy.

  3. In the Password Changer pane, from the Password Policy dropdown, select a password policy or create a new password policy. See Creating a password policy and Creating secret templates.
  4. Click Save.
