Tag a network device port

Tag a network device port

To tag a network device port, perform the following steps:

  1. Go to a network device's Instance Details page.

  2. Select the Monitoring Config tab.

  3. Select Tag Ports.

    The Port Tags drawer will slide out.

  4. Click the checkbox or checkboxes of the port(s) that you want to tag. You can also use the search field to narrow down the list of ports.

  5. Enter a tag then press Tab or Enter after each tag.

  6. Select Add Tags.

  7. Select Save. The tag will now be applied to the selected ports.

Remove tags from ports

To remove the tags applied the network device ports, perform the following steps:

  1. Go to a network device's Instance Details page.

  2. Select the Monitoring Config tab.

  3. Select Tag Ports.


    The Port Tags drawer will slide out.

  4. Search for the tag that you want to disassociate from the port.

  5. Click X on the tag that you want to remove.

  6. Select Save. The tag will now be removed from the port.

To remove the tags applied the network device ports, perform the following steps:

  1. Go to a network device's Instance Details page.

  2. Select the Monitoring Config tab.

  3. Select Tag Ports.


    The Port Tags drawer will slide out.

  4. Search for the tag that you want to disassociate from the port.

  5. Click X on the tag that you want to remove.

  6. Select Save. The tag will now be removed from the port.
