Add FortiMail as mail route host in Google Workspace

This topic describes how to add FortiMail/FortiMail Cloud as the mail route host.

  1. Log in to Google Workspace using your administrative credentials.

  2. From the Admin Console dashboard, click the expandable Main menu and click Apps > Google Workspace.

  3. From the list of services available, click Gmail.

  4. From the Settings for Gmail page, click Hosts.

  5. Click Add Route.

  6. Enter a Name for the mail route host.

  7. Under Specify email server, enter the host name or IP address of FortiMail/FortiMail Cloud.

  8. Under Options, for maximum security, confirm that TLS and CA signed certificate requirements are enabled.

  9. Click Test TLS connection to verify a successful TLS connection between Google Workspace and the FortiMail unit.

  10. Click Save.
