Connecting to the FortiGate GUI and logging in
After you connect an Ethernet cable from FortiGate to your PC, you can use a browser to access the FortiGate GUI and log in.
To connect to the FortiGate GUI and log in:

In a browser, go to https://192.168.1.99. The FortiGate login page is displayed.

Enter the username admin with no password, and click Login.

Configure a password for the admin account by following prompts to gain further access.
After you log in with the new password, the FortiGate Setup wizard is displayed.

Complete the FortiGate Setup wizard. See Completing the FortiGate Setup wizard.
