Configuring the management interface

We will configure the internal5 interface that we removed from the hardware switch as the management interface.

To configure the management interface:

1. On the Network > Interface page, double-click the internal5 interface to open it for editing.
2. Set the following options:

   Alias	MGMT
   Role	DMZ
   IP/Netmask	172.16.0.254/255.255.255.0
   Administrative Access	HTTPS, SSH, PING
   Device Detection	Enabled

   

3. Click OK to save the changes.
