Optional: Configuring the number of virtual CPUs (vCPUs)

By default, the virtual appliance is configured to use two vCPUs. You can change it as you desire. To ensure high performance, it's recommended to use at lease two vCPUs.

The FortiWeb Manager-VM must be powered off when you change the number of vCPUs.

To change the number of vCPUs:

  1. Visit VM ESXi from a browser and log in.
  2. Select the virtual machine for which you want to change the number of CPUs.
  3. Click Actions > Edit Settings.
  4. Edit the number of the CPU. Click Save.
