Deploying FortiWeb Manager-VM on VMware ESXi

You can deploy FortiWeb Manager-VM on VMware ESXi. After deployment, you can resize the virtual disk, configure the number of virtual CPUs and the virtual RAM limit as you desire.

Deploying the Fortiweb Manager-VM

  1. Visit VM ESXi from a browser and log in.
  2. When you successfully log in, click Create / Register VM.
  3. The New virtual machine wizard opens. Proceed the steps as instructed by the wizard. For the Deployment options, configure the settings as below.

  4. Review the settings, then click Finish.

    The wizard closes. The .ovf file will be deployed to the Virtual machine. The deployment time varies depending on your computer’s hardware speed and resource load, and also on the file size and speed of the network connection, but might take several minutes to complete.

    When the deployment completes, the virtual machine appears in the Virtual machine list.
