SD-WAN
The SD-WAN pane allows you to configure and manage SD-WAN networks on FortiGate devices that are managed by FortiManager. You can use the SD-WAN pane for the following modes of management:
The tree menu available on the SD-WAN pane depends on whether you have central management or per-device management enabled. When per-device management is enabled, the SD-WAN pane includes the following tree menu options:
Create, view, edit, and delete SD-WAN configurations on a device. |

Monitor the SD-WAN network. |
When central management is enabled, the SD-WAN pane includes the following tree menu options:
Create, view, edit, and delete templates of SD-WAN configurations that you can assign to one or more devices. |

Create, view, edit, and delete interface members. After interface members are created, you can select them in SD-WAN templates. |

Create, view, edit, and delete WAN detection servers. After health-check servers are created, you can select them in SD-WAN templates. |

Create, view, edit, and delete WAN BGP neighbors. After BGP neighbors are created, you can select them in SD-WAN templates. |

Monitor the SD-WAN network. |
Before FortiManager 6.4.1, you could use SD-WAN interface members directly in a policy. After upgrading to FortiManager 6.4.1, SD-WAN interface members are automatically upgraded to zones. Upgraded SD-WAN members are named upg-zone-<interface-name>, and they replace interfaces in policies.
