FortiIsolator version 3.0.0 includes the following new features and changes:
Cloud support
FortiIsolator 3.0.0 adds cloud support without any session limit using the Docker and Kubernetes framework, which provides the following benefits:

Improved scalability—Kubernetes dynamically scales applications based on demand, ensuring optimal resource utilization. No more need to configure HA manually.

Minimal downtime and interruption—Self-healing and recovery capabilities to automatically restart failed containers and reschedule workloads on healthy nodes, resulting in minimal downtime and interruption, which is especially important for large-scale deployments.

Rolling updates & rollbacks—Seamless application updates with zero downtime, allowing controlled rollouts and quick rollbacks if needed.

Efficient resource management—Intelligent scheduling optimizes CPU, memory, and other resources across multiple nodes.

Improved reproducibility and version control—Declarative configuration with YAML manifests is used to define infrastructure and application states.

Enhanced application availability—Built-in service discovery and automatic load balancing to enhance application availability.

GUI changes
The FortiIsolator 3.0.0 GUI has the following changes:

Console login—You must now only log in the console as a root user. Admin users are no longer allowed console access.

Use the new Host List widget to view a list of hosts and the status of each host. You can also shut down or reboot a host when the FortiIsolator is in maintenance mode.

Use the new Service Information widget for a comprehensive view of the services running in the system.

In the System Information widget, the Host Name option is renamed System Name.

The System Resources widget is removed.

Network—This menu is renamed Hosts with all the separate pages consolidated into tabs. The Forwarding Server tab is integrated into the Policy page.

The High Availability page is removed.

The Install Package page is renamed Manage FIS Images with additional functionality of uploading various supporting packages during installation or upgrade.

No support for FortiProxy
FortiIsolator 3.0.0 no longer supports integration with FortiProxy.
No support for LDAP servers
FortiIsolator 3.0.0 no longer supports connecting to LDAP servers for user authentication.
No support for Hyper-V
FortiIsolator3.0.0 no longer supports deployment on Hyper-V.
