Kubernetes Agent Log Collection

There are times when the Kubernetes agent installed on the cluster requires debug or troubleshooting by the Container Protection support team. For your data privacy and protection, you may execute the Kubernetes agent log collection command. This command will transmit only Kubernetes agent logs without having the support team access the cluster.

When the log collection command is executed, Kubernetes agent logs will be transmitted to Container Protection via AWS S3 Storage bucket for further investigation.

To execute Kubernetes agent log collection, follow the steps below:

  1. Log into the Kubernetes Cluster.
  2. Deploy the Kubernetes agent if you have not done so.
  3. Type in the following command to execute log collection: fcli dump logs

After the log collection command is executed, Container Protection support team will be able to troubleshoot Kubernetes agent related issue.
