Azure Add Kubernetes Cluster - Self Managed

  1. From the Container Protection navigation menu, go to Configure > Kubernetes Cluster.
  2. Click +ADD NEW to add a Kubernetes Cluster.
  3. Enter a Cluster Name to be shown in Container Protection, click Select Kubernetes Platform drop down menu and select Azure. Click Select Kubernetes Type drop down menu and select Self-Managed.
  4. Enter the Azure Subscription ID. Azure Subscription ID can be obtained through Home > Subscriptions on Azure Portal.
  5. Enter the Resource Group Name and Virtual Network/Subnet Name associated with the subscription ID. Resource group name can be obtained through Home > Virtual Machines on Azure Portal.
  6. At the Azure Portal Virtual Machines page, click on the virtual machine name to access the Overview of the virtual machine, then you will find the virtual network name.

  7. Click Add Another Virtual Network/Subnet to add more virtual network/subnet names if there are other virtual machines with the same resource group name.
  8. Click on Select Azure OAuth drop down menu and select the Azure account registered through the Credential Store.
  9. Click Add Kubernetes Cluster to add Azure Kubernetes Cluster.

You will be prompt to manually deploy Kubernetes Agent controller to the Kubernetes Cluster, follow the rest of the instructions in Deploy Kubernetes Agent Controller.

  1. From the Container Protection navigation menu, go to Configure > Kubernetes Cluster.
  2. Click +ADD NEW to add a Kubernetes Cluster.
  3. Enter a Cluster Name to be shown in Container Protection, click Select Kubernetes Platform drop down menu and select Azure. Click Select Kubernetes Type drop down menu and select Self-Managed.
  4. Enter the Azure Subscription ID. Azure Subscription ID can be obtained through Home > Subscriptions on Azure Portal.
  5. Enter the Resource Group Name and Virtual Network/Subnet Name associated with the subscription ID. Resource group name can be obtained through Home > Virtual Machines on Azure Portal.
  6. At the Azure Portal Virtual Machines page, click on the virtual machine name to access the Overview of the virtual machine, then you will find the virtual network name.

  7. Click Add Another Virtual Network/Subnet to add more virtual network/subnet names if there are other virtual machines with the same resource group name.
