Migration to FortiCloud
FortiGSLB Cloud has integrated FortiCloud organization, enabling centralized management and control of all Fortinet SaaS solutions. This allows for efficient asset management with search and hierarchical organization, secure user access with role-based controls, and streamlined resource provisioning and security through hierarchical multitenancy management.
The migration changes how organizations are created and managed, and some actions are no longer performed via the FortiGSLB web GUI. For information on the updated Organization page, see Organization.

Log Display Rescale
The widest time frame for bar charts displaying logs is now 90 days. This applies to Event logs, Audit logs, Dashboard > QPS History, and Contract & License > Query Usage.

AWS and Azure fabric connectors
FortiGSLB Cloudsupports the addition of AWS and Azure credentials as fabric connectors, offering multi-cloud application visibility and high availability. These connectors enable the integration of EC2 instances from AWS, as well as virtual machines and load balancers from Azure, as virtual servers.

Zone file import
FortiGSLB Cloud now supports importing zone files, allowing you to enhance DNS management by uploading your locally saved zone config file to apply multiple records to a single zone domain. Key feature highlights include:

Support Fully Qualified Domain Names (FQDN) as Destination Address
You can now configure FQDN as a Destination Address for FortiGate Connectors and Synthetic Testing. This allows for seamless management of dynamic IP address changes without configuration adjustments, ensuring adaptability to cloud environment changes and eliminating manual updates.

FortiGSLB Cloud has deployed service to the new locations of Germany and Singapore.
Anycast DNS Server Support
Deploy DNS service to multiple regions by migrating to an Anycast DNS server. Using an Anycast IP address, DNS query requests automatically route to the nearest FortiGSLB endpoint. This change enhances stability and resilience, reduces latency, and achieves the best response times globally. Implementation of this feature requires all domains to switch to the new Anycast IP address by March 7, 2024. For more information, see Anycast Migration for Global DNS service.
Primary and Secondary DNS Server support
FortiGSLB Cloud is supporting a Primary and Secondary DNS Server. For more information, see Anycast Migration for Global DNS service.

Enhanced account license management for IAM Users and Sub Users

GeoIP regions now support continental level regions for the location. -

When an error occurs in the Health Check event logs, you will now be provided with the details and reasons for the failure for further troubleshooting. -

You can now schedule GSLB Services by using a self-defined GeoIP address group. -

New portal domain
