Syntax:

--name <"string">;

The name keyword provides a signature name that is displayed in the GUI and the CLI. It is mandatory in all signatures. The name should only contain printable characters. Use the following format for a signature name:

company.name.productname.vulnerablefile.vulnerabilityname

• The string should be enclosed by double quotation marks.
• The maximum length of a signature name is 64 characters.
• The period replaces the use of a space.
• The signature name must be unique for each custom signature.

Example:

--name "IBM.Domino.iNotes.Foldername.Buffer.Overflow";
