formatlogdisk

Use this command to clear the logs from the FortiWeb appliance’s hard disk and reformat the disk.

  • This operation deletes all locally stored log files.

  • The system will reboot after this command is executed.

To use this command, your administrator account’s access control profile must have either w or rw permission to the sysgrp area. For details, see Permissions.

When you execute this command, the FortiWeb appliance displays the following message:

This operation will clear all data on the log disk and take a few minutes according to the disk size!!

Do you want to continue? (y/n)
