Viewing call detail records

Viewing call detail records

Monitor > Call History > Call Detail Record (CDR) displays all the phone calls made during a certain time period, including time of the call, caller and receiver, call duration, call status, call direction, trunks used, call type, call recordings, source departments, and destination departments.

From Monitor > Call History > Call Detail Record (CDR), you can perform the following actions:

  • To display the detailed call information including the CDR flow, double-click on a call record.
  • To filter call record entries, make choices in the Direction, Disposition, Source Department, and Destination Department drop-down lists.
  • To add callers or callees to your contact list, make your selection, and use the More Action > Add to Contact drop-down list.
  • To block callers or callees, make your selection, and use the More Action > Block drop-down list.
  • To show a list of flagged CDR calls, use the More Action > Flagged CDR drop-down list. To save the list in the CSV format, click Export.
  • To filter the call records display, click the Search button and enter criteria that records must match in order to be visible.
  • To download call records, select an option under Download. If you enable With call flow, you can download call records with detailed call flow information.
  • To download a recorded call, go to the Recorded column and click the green check mark. FortiVoice saves the file to your local system. The file name format is: <from #>-<to #>-<yyyy-mm-dd>_<hh_mm_ss for start time>.wav. For details about feature codes for recording phone calls, see Modifying feature access codes.
