Configuring the sunrise and sunset time
When specifying schedules, you can use a specific date and time, or the time of sunrise and sunset, which varies during the year from summer to winter. This is useful if, for example, you want to record only during the night.
To get the sunrise and sunset time
- Go to Schedule > Schedule > Settings.
- Enter the geographical latitude and longitude where the FortiRecorder and camera are located.

Click Calculate.
The time of sunrise and sunset on a few days is displayed.

When using a combination of sunrise or sunset and the specific time, if the time crosses the boundary of sunrise or sunset, the schedule has no effect. For example, if the sunrise is at 8:00 AM and you set the schedule from sunrise to 7:00 AM, then the schedule has no effect. |
