execute ping

Send an ICMP echo request (ping) to test the network connection between the FortiProxy unit and another network device.

execute ping  <IPv4 address>

You can enter an IP address, or a domain name. The FortiProxy unit must be able to resolve the domain name.

Example

This example shows how to ping a host with the IP address 172.20.120.16.
