Add or edit a trunk

Add or edit a trunk

A trunk can be created on a switch with multiple ports.

To add or edit a trunk:
  1. In Switch > Configuration > Port Configuration, select the appropriate site and switch.

  2. Select Trunk.

  3. Either:

    1. Click Create New to add a new trunk.

    2. Select a trunk and click Edit to edit an existing trunk.

  4. In the form, enter or update the following information:

    Enter a name for this trunk.

    MC-LAG

    Y

    Enable or disable multichassis link aggregation (MCLAG) on this trunk.

    Mode

    Y

    Select the mode: Static (LACP DIsabled), LACP Passive, or LACP Active.

    Members

    Y

    Select the ports to add to this trunk.

    Native VLAN

    Y

    Select the native VLAN to use for this trunk.

    Allowed VLANs

    N

    Select the VLANs for which the port can transmit or receive frames.

    Edge Port

    Y

    Enable or disable this trunk as an edge port.

    STP Status

    Y

    Enable or disable spanning tree protocol (STP) on this trunk.

    DHCP Snooping

    Y

    Set this trunk as Trusted or Untrusted for DHCP.

  5. Click OK.

A trunk can be created on a switch with multiple ports.

To add or edit a trunk:
  1. In Switch > Configuration > Port Configuration, select the appropriate site and switch.

  2. Select Trunk.

  3. Either:

    1. Click Create New to add a new trunk.

    2. Select a trunk and click Edit to edit an existing trunk.

  4. In the form, enter or update the following information:

    Enable or disable multichassis link aggregation (MCLAG) on this trunk.
