This release contains the following new features and enhancements:

  • Firewall objects:

    The following firewall objects can now be used in policies:

    • File filter profile

    • Video filter profile

    • SSL/SSH inspection profile

  • Wifi Configuration:

    View or edit the AP profile settings and network interface (SSID) configuration for each managed FortiAP and FortiWiFi device.

  • Flex-VM licensing:

    FortiPortal is now part of the Flex-VM program. MSSP partners can use points to create license entitlements for FortiPortal-VM (7.0.3 and later).

  • Multiple interface support:

    Users can configure multiple interface ports for FortiPortal. FortiPortal can be accessed from any interface. Note that the primary gateway and scalable cluster interface can only be configured at port1.

  • Drill-down in SD-WAN Utilization by Application widget:

    Organization users can click on a bar in the SD-WAN Utilization by Application widget in the SD-WAN > Monitoring page to view detailed information about each application.

  • Switch Configuration support:

    Organization users can view and edit port settings for switches. The port settings include port status, STP, edge port, PoE and DHCP.
