Creating a secret with Windows Domain Account (Samba) template

To create a secret with Windows Domain Account (Samba) template:
  1. Go to Secrets > Secret List.
  2. In Secret List, select Create.

    The Create New Secret in: dialog appears.

  3. Select the folder where you intend to add the secret.
  4. Select Create Secret.

    The New Secret window opens.

  5. Enter a name for the secret.
  6. In the Template dropdown, select Windows Domain Account (Samba) default template.

    You must have the corresponding domain server configuration on hand before filling in the fields of the secret.

  7. In the Fields pane:
    1. In the Domain-Controller field, enter the IP address of the domain controller.
    2. In the Domain field, enter the domain name of the SMB server.
    3. In the Username field, enter the username for the SMB server.
    4. In the Password field, enter the password for the SMB server.
    5. In the Confirm Password field that appears after the password is filled in, enter the password again.
  8. In the Secret Setting pane, enable Session Recording.

    Enabling Session Recording ensures that the user action performed on the secret is recorded.

    The video file is available in the log for users with appropriate permission.

  9. Click Submit.
