CLI reference

execute factoryreset-shutdown

execute factoryreset-shutdown

Use this command to reset FortiNDR to its factory default settings for the current installed firmware version and shut down. This operation includes resetting RAID level and partitioning the disks to default settings. All system configurations and local DB of NDR Packages will be lost after execution.

Back up your configuration before using this command. This procedure resets all changes you have made to the FortiNDR configuration file and reverts the system to the default values for the firmware version, including factory default settings for the IP addresses of network interfaces. For information on creating a backup, see the FortiNDR Administration Guide in the Fortinet Document Library.

The default RAID level depends on the number of disks:

  • 2 disks: RAID 1
  • 3 disks: RAID 5
  • 4, 6, 8, or 12 disks: RAID 10
