Product Prerequisites
The use of FortiNAC is not restricted to any customer or architecture. This deployment guide can be used by any customer, no matter how big the environment or company size. The only requirement is to have administrator level access to network devices for basic configuration.
The following requirements are necessary for access:

User credentials with Admin level CLI access to the network switches.

SNMP settings for switches allowing the FortiNAC IP to collect and send SNMP info.

Predefined VLAN IDs to be used in the Isolation/Registration Segment.

Determine the Subnet to be used in the Isolation/Registration network.

Define the VLAN ID that will used for network segments based on the customer environment like Corporate, BYOD, PLC..etc.
