Deployment Plan

To deploy a FortiNAC into a network, consider the basic network settings that should already be configured:

• Admin Users have been defined for the Managed Network Devices.

• Network Switches have SNMP settings configured.

• Isolation VLAN has been defined in the network switches.

• Network Switches have been configured to allow the CLI Connection thought SSH.

• FortiNAC Control & Application has been deployed and licensed with a Plus license.

Once the above are defined and FortiNAC is deployed, the following steps will provision the FortiNAC for visibility and control:

1. Define logical networks

2. Adding managed device networks

3. Profiling IoT devices

4. Profiling OT manufacturing devices

5. Automation of network provisioning with VLAN segmentation

6. Create the Port Group and associated the Switch Ports
