FortiMonitor 2026.2 includes the following enhancements:

April 9, 2026

• UI: Added pagination to monitoring config tables for Servers, Templates, and OnSights when metric categories or SNMP metrics exceed 1000+ metrics.

• Alerting: Improved incident notifications for merged incidents with different alert timelines.

• SNMP: Bulk onboarding now skips duplicate IPs that already exist in FortiMonitor, allowing onboarding to proceed while reporting skipped duplicates.

• Metrics: Added helper text to the Content Match Type field under Edit HTTP Check > Advanced > Content Matching.

• Third-party integration: Added integration-level duplication checks for third-party instances.

• UI: Improved clarity of Windows agent DEM and non-DEM options in the Catalog .

• UI: UI enhancements to Topology.

• Security Fabric: Added filtering for Fabric connections in Monitoring > Infra Settings > Fabric by Last Discovery Status and Polling Status.

March 19, 2026

• UI: Added Last updated <date/time> tooltips to metric values in table views, including network device performance, SNMP network ports, dynamic server tabs, and fabric network ports, when the last recorded value is older than 5x the metric monitoring frequency.

• Alerting: Usability and UI improvements to the Flapping Metric feature.

March 12, 2026

• API: Added defined values for the integration_type field in the /fabric_connection POST API Swagger UI (csf_tunnel, onsight_csf_tunnel, raw, fmg_proxy).

• Reports: Added new columns to the Instance Configuration Report.

• Monitoring policies: Removed the unused Network Device Configuration – SNMP Device Model option from the monitoring policies rule dropdown.

• Status pages: Improved performance of Status Page outage calculations.

• ACL: Improvements to the Account Information modal, including updates to user activity permissions and UI behavior based on view and edit access.

• NetFlow: Added a new edit drawer on NetFlow pages to allow editing of details such as alert timeline and heartbeat.

• Alerting: Long-running incidents are now automatically terminated by pausing metrics (excluding heartbeat) with confirmed incidents lasting more than 60 days.

• OnSight vCollector: UI updates to the page header on the OnSight page.

• Infrastructure Map: Improvements to Infrastructure Map views.

• Improved performance of the Heartbeat Service and Incident Manager Service.

• SNMP: Bulk SNMP onboarding now allows onboarding to continue when duplicate entries are detected. Duplicate entries are skipped and valid devices are onboarded.

• API: Improved thresholds handling for /server/{server_id}/agent_resource/{agent_resource_id} and /server/{server_id}/snmp_resource/{snmp_resource_id}, including field-level validation errors and required fields when thresholds are provided.

• API: Added support for alert_percentage_threshold and updated API documentation to include exclude_from_availability.

• Maintenance: Added support for applying maintenance periods at the OnSight level. Maintenance applied to an OnSight automatically places all monitored instances under maintenance. FOr more information, see Apply maintenance to instances by OnSight.

• Alerting: Improvements to the Flapping Metric feature.
