Network device widgets

Network device widgets

Available network device widgets are described in the following list:

  • Bandwidth In/Out – This widget shows the inbound and outbound network traffic within a specified time period.

  • Network Errors In/Out – This widget shows the inbound and outbound network error traffic within a specified time period.

  • Packets In/Out – This widget shows the inbound and outbound network error traffic within a specified time period.

Examples

Bandwidth in and out

In this example, the widget shows the hourly inbound and outbound network traffic (in bits per second) of the selected port.

Configuration

When creating or editing a widget, a drawer that shows the widget's configuration options slides out from the right. Each configurable option is described in the following table.

Field

Description

Block Title

Name of the widget as it appears on the dashboard.

This field shows the default name of the widget. Select the pen icon to rename the widget.

Instance

Choose a network device. Use the Search field to filter the list of instances.

Port

Choose the port that you want to monitor.

Time Range

In the Options tab, select a time range for the widget.

Values:

  • Last Hour (Default)

  • Last 15 minutes

  • Last 6 hours

  • Last 12 hours

  • Last 24 hours

  • Last week

  • Last month

  • Last year

Dashboard Scoping Adherence

Enabling this option will allow you to bypass Dashboard-level scoping.
