Static Route Templates are integrated with the SD-WAN Overlay Template to deliver routing configuration to each Branch location.

When creating or editing a SD-WAN Overlay Template, you can choose to enable this setting and specify a new or previously configured Static Route Template.

To specify a Static Route Template in the SD-WAN Overlay Template:
  1. Go to Device Manager > Provisioning Templates > SD-WAN Overlay.

  2. Edit or create a new SD-WAN Overlay Template, and configure the SD-WAN Overlay Template as per your requirements.

  3. On step 4 of the SD-WAN Overlay Template configuration, enable the Add Default Route to SD-WAN Zones in Static Route option.

    • If the Static Route Template already exists, you can select it from the dropdown menu.

    • If the Static Route Template has not been created, click the add icon to open up the Static Route Template configuration menu to create a new one, and then select it from the dropdown menu.

    Auto-created static route by default:

    • Destination: 0.0.0.0/0

    • Gateway: 0.0.0.0

    • SDWAN Zones: All Interfaces created by overlay

Static Route Templates are integrated with the SD-WAN Overlay Template to deliver routing configuration to each Branch location.
