    REST API Rate Limiting

    REST API Rate Limiting

    With this release, you can rate limit the REST API requests from a client per second. Navigate to System > General Settings to configure the values.

    • REST API request rate limit - Set the rate limiting value for the FortiGuest admin portal APIs.

    • Captive Portal request rate limit - Set the rate limiting value for the captive portal APIs.

    The allowed range for these fields is 5 - 50 requests per second and the default is 30 requests per second.
