SD-WAN / SD-Branch Architecture for MSSPs

Blueprint 1: MSSP premises / public cloud, multitenant with direct customer access

Blueprint 1: MSSP premises / public cloud, multitenant with direct customer access

Both FortiManager and FortiAnalyzer are deployed either on MSSP premises or in the public cloud (such as AWS, Azure, GCP, and others). Multitenancy is configured using Administrative Domains (ADOM), with one ADOM per Customer.

The Customer has direct access to its ADOMs to perform tasks, such as checking network status using FortiAnalyzer widgets, generating a report, and so on. Access to the device configuration and real-time troubleshooting tools (such as the SD-WAN Monitor in FortiManager) can also be provided, depending on the nature of the Managed Service (that is, depending on whether this duty is fully taken by the MSSP or not).
