Creating a FortiManager on Snowball Edge

This step is optional.

To create a FortiManager on Snowball Edge:
  1. Download the FortiManager image: FMG_VM64_AWS-v7.4.0-buildXXXX-FORTINET.out.OpenXen.zip.

  2. Repeat the steps in Generating a raw image and registering it in OpsHub to convert the FortiManger qcow2 into a raw image, upload the FortiManager raw image to the S3 bucket, create a snapshot from the raw image, and create an AMI from the FortiManager snapshot.

  3. Launch the FortiManager instance with a virtual network interface (VNI):

    1. From the Image (AMI) dropdown list, select the AMI that you created.

    2. You can choose to create an outside IP address or use an existing VNI. This example uses an existing VNI, but it is likely that you will need to create a new VNI.

    3. From the Virtual network interface dropdown list, select the desired VNI.

    4. Click Launch.
