Component Authentication
In order to install, upgrade or uninstall a Collector, you must supply the Aggregator password. The Aggregator password is the same for all Collectors in the FortiEDR system. This password is defined during initial system installation. For more details, see Installing the FortiEDR Central Manager and FortiEDR Aggregator on the Same Machine.
If you forget the Aggregator password, you can use the COMPONENT AUTHENTICATION option to retrieve it.
To retrieve the Aggregator password:
- Click the TOOLS link in the left pane.
- In the COMPONENT AUTHENTICATION area, click the Display button. The following window displays, showing the retrieved password.
