Upgrade via GUI fails with the error Upgrade failed and do force upgrade from cli if you do not follow the recommended upgrade path. In such a case, upgrade FortiWLM via CLI using the command upgrade nms-server <latest build available in Show flash command> force. This causes a reboot.
Note: Use the .tar file format to upgrade from 8.4.1 and the .fwlm file format to upgrade from 8.4.2 and 8.5.0.
