To upgrade from versions earlier than 6.3.9, you need to upgrade to 6.3.9 first , then to 6.3.10.

Restricting access based on empty headers

You can now restrict access when a certain header in the request is empty. It can be configured in Advanced Protection > Custom Rules.

Number of URL rewriting rules limit increased

FortiWeb now supports up to 512 URL rewriting rules.

Number of Signature policies limit increased

You can now configure up to 128 Signature policies on the FortiWeb 600E, and 256 on the 1000E/2000E/3000E/3010E/4000E. The maximum remains 64 on the 100E/400E.

Server object maximum limits changes

The following maximum values on E series have been changed:

  • Virtual IP maximum is changed to 1024.
  • Server pool maximum on 1000E, 2000E, 3000E, and 3010E is changed to 512, 4000E to 1024.
  • Pool member maximum is changed to 1024.
  • Virtual Server is changed to 1024.
