Select availability features

Select availability features

FortiSASE includes several features with select availability, which are features that are released but not available by default for all customers. Following is a table that describes some of these features and the associated conditions when they are enabled on existing FortiSASE instances.

Central management

Integration with FortiManager to provide central management for a selected set of configuration settings.

Infrastructure

View endpoint management and logging locations, and view, add, change, and delete security sites or data centers for a FortiSASE instance.

The time needed for security site changes is subject to configuration complexity. During this change, FortiSASE features and connectivity may be temporarily impacted. See PoPs for the expected impact of applying infrastructure changes.

This feature is available only when a FortiSASE instance meets these specific conditions:

  • The following features are not configured:
    • Secure web gateway
    • Source IP address anchoring
  • Default VPN remote users’ IP address range has not been exceeded.
  • The following have not been deployed:
    • Edge devices
    • Branch On-ramp locations
  • You have not made other custom changes to the instance.
Network restrictions removed Support for removing network restrictions for customer networks. Yes Yes When enabling this feature, FortiSASE service may be unavailable for brief periods of time. Completing the process requires up to a two-hour scheduled maintenance window.

Authenticated onboarding

Authenticating agent based remote users via SAML SSO during their client onboarding using Invitation code
